February Glam Bag (The Look of Love)

February Ipsy Bag
Here is what I received for February Ipsy Bag.  I will go through it one by one and I will tell you what I think of each product I received in this bag.
First is a false lashes by J.Cat Beauty.
JCat Beauty Eyelashes
Per Ipsy: J. Cat false lashes are latex free, perfect for sensitive eyes, can be used up to 10 times, and creates the perfect natural look.
My opinion: I do love how flexible they are and easy to put on, but this particular did not give me the perfect natural look I am looking for.  This particular lashes has gaps in them and I am looking for a fuller lashes.  Maybe if I got a different false lashes then maybe I would love it, just not this particular one.
Second is lipgloss by Pop Beauty.
Pop Beauty
I received mine in shade Fuchsia Freesia.  It’s a bright pink shade, which I don’t mind at all.
Per Ipsy: This lipgloss is lightweight, creamy texture, and delivers intense glossy color for an extremely long lasting finish.
My opinion: I love that it is  lightweight and has a creamy texture to it, but I don’t like how it smells.  I don’t know how to explain the smell, but the top smells and the gloss smells or maybe it’s the applicator, I don’t know, but I just didn’t like it.
Third is a shadow and base in one by Tini Beauty.
Shadow Tint
I got this shadow tint in shade Violet.  I’m glad I got this shade.
Per Ipsy: This shadow tint glides on creamy color.  It sets to a transfer-resistant finish that doubles as a wear-extending base under powder shadow.
My opinion: I love this shadow tint! It does glide on easily and it does sets to a transfer-resistant finish.  This is my favorite of all from this month’s glam bag.  You can wear this alone and a liner and done.
Fourth item I received is Skyn Iceland.
Skyn Iceland
This is for detoxing and brightening.
Per Ipsy: This is an anti-aging, dullness-diminishing super power.  It has a refreshing, cooling sensation and blended together with the activating gel.  This is also effective for even sensitive types.
My opinion:  Honestly, trying this out once isn’t enough.  I can’t really give you a full honest review on this product, but I will tell you this, It does feel refreshing and has a cooling sensation as soon as you apply the clay and the activating gel.
Now to the last item I received is a nail polish by Zoya.
Zoya Nailpolish
I received this nail polish in shade Dot.
Per Ipsy; It’s full of pure pigment, intense color and modern complexity that are perfect transition into spring.
I’ve received Zoya nail polish in the past from Ipsy and I can’t say anything wrong them.  I love all of them.

January Favorites

It’s that time of the month to show you my favorites for the month of January.

January Favorites

The picture shown above are the stuff I’ve been using in January.

I’ve been loving this Loreal Paris Youth Code BB Cream.  It really gives my skin that natural look and it evens out my skin tone.  I love using Mac prolong wear as my concealer/highlighter.  It covers my dark circle and just perfect for highlighting certain areas on my face.  As for setting powder, I use Banana Ben Nye.  It absorbs the oil on my tzone.  As Bronzer, I’ve been using two, which is by Too Faced in Chocolate and RiRi Mac. It’s just perfect for my skin tone and gives my skin a good finish.  For Blush, I’ve been using this blush I received from my glam bag months ago and it is by Be A Bombshell.  It gives me that perfect glow on the cheeks.  Lately, I’ve been loving Blinkcosmetics eyeshadows.  They are so pigmented and smooth finish on my lids.  They are buildable and can be applied wet.  For my eyelashes, I’ve been loving this mascara by Loreal Paris.  It lenghtens my lashes and it doesn’t clump up.  And last, but not the least, lips,  I’ve been using Nyx in Cream.  Perfect nude pink and it goes with every look I do on my eyes.

Well, that is it for my January Favorites.  What is your January Favorites?

Valentines Day Look

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.  Have you all decided what look you’ll be rocking?  What will you guys be doing for that special day?  Here’s one of the look I did for that special day.  It’s soft and simple.  Here’s how I achieved this look:

1. I primed my eyes using Nyx Eyeshadow Base Skin Tone all over  my lids.

2. Using an eyeshadow brush apply the matte side of Two Cosmetics Duo Eyeshadow in Heartache all over the lids.

3. Using a flat shader brush, wet it, dip it on Flamingo by Madison Street Beauty and apply it on top of Heartache and don’t forget to blend the edges.

4. Using the light brown on Emcosmetics Artistic Palette, apply it on the crease as a transition and just blend it.

5. Using the black eyeshadow in the palette, apply it on the outer corner of the eyes and blend it.

6. Using the pearl shimmer in the palette, apply it on the tear duct and blend the hasrsh line.

7. I used the Marbella to line my lash line and winged it out a bit.

8. I used Milani Liquif Eye in Metallic on the bottom lash line for that soft effect. and just blend it.

9. Apply your false lashes and you are set to go.  Just do your foundation routine and that’s it.

I hope you try this look and let me know what you think.  You don’t have to use the same items I used in this picture.

Here is a closer look of my eyes:
